Tekken 6: Bloodline rebellion

It seems Namco have caught the same bug that caused Sega to re-release Evolution and R versions of Virtua Fighter 4 and 5, as Namco have now released Tekken 6: Bloodline rebellion into arcades. The new re-release will feature 2 new characters. Lars Alexandersson who with a name like that should've been in ABBA. And Alisa Bosconovitch who I assume has some connections with Dr. Boskonovitch who was introduced in Tekken 3. Along with these new additions to the Tekken roster come 2 new stages, more accessories to kit your characters out with and the option to change their hairstyles! Oh, yay!!!

These new characters look...interesting for the lack of a better term. The dude we can work with. But that girl has gots to go. She looks like a cross between a Phantasy star reject, a Burning ranger and a hooker. She doesn't look like she belongs in Tekken what-so-ever. I'm not sure why Namco bothered with these new characters. Bob was all the addition we needed. He is my n***a for life. I LOVE that man! He needs his own spin-off game.

Namco still haven't given a release date for the inevitable port of Tekken 6. It's more than likely that the Bloodline rebellion version of Tekken 6 is the one which will get ported. Unless Namco wanna be unfair bastards and release Tekken 6 on disc format and then drop Bloodline rebellion via the PSN marketplace 6 months later with a lack of bells and whistles. It will be interesting to see if Xbox 360 owners will be treated to some Tekken action. Given Namco sharing the Soul Calibur love across both console and Sega having done the same with Virtua Fighter 5, it's more than likely...
