A stupid guy in China decided he wanted to cuddle a Panda and hopped into its cage to do so. As hundred odd pound wild animals with claws tend to do, the Panda attacked the dude. He had this to say from his hospital bed side.

"[The Panda] was so cute and I just wanted to cuddle him. I didn't expect he would attack."

He deserved it. Animals are territorial and as far as that Panda is concerned that enclosure is its home. The boy tresspassed and got a Panda beat down. That Panda did what any human would do had somebody tresspassed into their home. I have no sympathy.

It's an awakening to him that Panda's look cute, but they are still wild animals. He's 20 year's old and says he didn't expect the Panda would attack? The security fence surrounds animals in zoo's for a reason. A Panda will not hug you and then shower you in rainbows as it playfully brushes bamboo leaves against your face if you walk up to it. It will beat you down like the Panda in Tekken. Not every Panda will, but is it worth the risk hopping into a case to see the odds? Not me.
